2012 Columbus Ohio Regional

The following event samples are copyright Stampin' Up! and the Demonstrators who designed them. The are posted for inspiration and to share from one demonstrator to another...these were all at the demonstration tables and were made to show new techniques for new products out of the Ocassions mini and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. Some of my favorites are listed below. More to come!

2012 Regionals-Columbus, Ohio

Here are the two make-n-takes we made today at Regionals!  I unfortunately did not win prize patrol today but everyone did walk away with a journal from the super cute Carrie Cudney, and a Simply Sent card kit from Shelli.  Thanks for a super fun day to my two fun new girlfriends Jessica and Pat who came along with me.

A punched wedding card-CASED

This is a very vanilla wedding card that I cased but put my own twist on.  I cannot find the other original as the moment but I will add it and give credit when I find it again.  This card was really pretty in the sunshine. Hope u like it! I made this for my friend Cori who got married last year.

Convention 2011-Highlights

So I know that this blog is kind of going in the opposite direction, but I am playing catch-up as this is all new to me and I am having to teach myself how to use and post entries. I am so not a "techie" type of computer person. As a matter of fact, if you must know, pretty much every time I get a new computer or phone or whatever-it usually breaks/dies/crashes or has the blue screen of death within about a 2 month time frame. So, back to Convention 2011. this was I must say the most amazing, fun, jam-packed week I had been to ever! Can you say OMG! It was SO FUN!!! Thanks to my Tweedle friend for going with me! I was so happy she decided to come! We had a blast! Definitely not missing it this year! So on with the show! The theme for Convention 2011 was GROW~
These first few are of the boards where they display all types of samples that Demo's mail in and enter contests with.
This was a pillow that someone made to enter one of the contests, it was in the VIP section of the convention area-I qualified as a VIP thanks to my Tweedle friend Carin for signing up under me to become a demo again.
This was a HOME banner someone made that was hanging in the VIP section as well.
VIP Section that had couches, tables, candy, snacks, other displays etc.
We got to have our pic taken with Shelli Gardner, Co-founder and CEO of SU!
My Tweedle friend enjoying her brewski...
This is the name of the beer that we were drinking one night at a bar after Convention-it was "da bomb" :)

"CREATE" SU Fabric Banner and Basket-Flirtatious!

So here is a SU Designer Fabric banner I just finished making with the perfect pennants die that uses the Big Shot Die Cutting System. The fabric is called Flirtatious! Let me know what you think!
Here is a small little purse like basket that was also made using the same kind of fabric and the scallop square die with the Sizzix Big Shot from SU as well.
Finally, these little rosettes are made by taking scraps of the fabric and sewing the one side of them by hand doing a up and down/whip like stitch and them pulling the thread tight and it turns into a round rosette. then I added matching buttons and of course SU ribbon to match and make them into little pins to attach to bags or barrettes! So easy and cute!
