A Heads Up from Paper Pumpkin April 10, 2013 A note from Paper Pumpkin: Hi everyone! I already visited many of you with my very first kit last month. If you haven't signed up, it's really easy-Just visit https://mypaperpumpkin.com?demoid=2014414 to join! If you've already joined, just wanted to give you a heads up. I promised to let you know when you'd be able to skip a month of receiving me or even cancel your Paper Pumpkin kits completely (so sad, I'll stop coming.) Those two options are now available-just visit www.mypaperpumpkin.com, log in to your account, and click "Manage My Pumpkin" in the blue box under the "You Have Joined" red banner. Here's a look of where you'll click "Manage My Pumpkin": Make sure to skip or cancel me by the 10th of the month to skip that month's kit or cancel your kits completely. And, coming soon, we'll also have the feature to notify you via e-mail when any of your customers cancel or skip a month. We'll let you know when this feature is available. With the new option to cancel your monthly Paper Pumpkin, we want to clarify how our Cancel feature works if someone cancels and signs up at a later date.

As a Paper Pumpkin customer, if you choose to cancel your membership, and later choose to reactivate your account and keep the same e-mail account you used when you signed up-you won't get the Welcome Kit again in your first month. You will simply start receiving the current month's kit in the month in which you sign up.

Cards, cards and more cards!

Getting caught up on some half made cards that have been on my desk for years....time flies when your having fun!

I took on a challenge from a fellow SU Demo that I admire. Kimberly Van Diepen suggested a way to clean and craft at the same time by clearing off your desk and work space by making cards with scraps and whatever is already on your desk. The following cards are the result of the mess.

The bottle caps are a new addition I made to get a head start on some decorations for Kylie's 9th Birthday. It spells "happy birthday kylie" with a bunch of mini cupcakes as well. These are also magnets as well as being able to be hung in a banner.

The last project is of a cell phone holder. This holds my iphone 4s with a slim speck case. This was from a tutorial I found on a blog when searching for fabric crafts to make with the new SU fabric lines. Thanks to "EASY iPhone Sleeve" A tutorial by Erin Erickson for this awesome set of instructions!

2013/2014 Color Refresh

Do you dream in color? We do!
Announcing our Color Refresh! We love color and we know that you do too. Color is fundamental to who we are and what we offer. It's important for us to stay up-to-date with color trends so we are thrilled to share our updated line of colors, and hope you will be as excited as we are by the new possibilities!
Why now? In 2010 we did a big color renovation and shared our plans for smaller color refreshes every three to five years to keep our colors on trend. Well it has been three years and we are excited to announce that the upcoming 2013-2014 annual catalog will include 10 new colors (most of which are returning In Colors from previous years)! We are welcoming back some of your favorites, moving some colors around, and introducing one brand-new color, so take a look!

Beginning on April 4, 2013, all retiring/discontinued color products (i.e. ink, paper, ribbon, accessories, etc.) will be available only while supplies last. This means that some products will not be available through the retired list period. We did anticipate increased demand and based our forecasts for these retiring colors on historical sales information from previous color transitions. However, even with the most careful planning, the response to a transition of this nature can surprise everyone--including you in your own business and personal purchases. We encourage you to let your customers know that any of our retiring color products are only available while supplies last so they can get their favorites and look forward to the exciting colors coming in the 2013-2014 annual catalog. And also announced today, free shipping is going on April 6-8, 2013, which would be a great time for you and your customers to get your favorites before they are gone! (Free shipping is for North America only.)
